what other footballer have you ever heard with the same attitude as him? Not many.

Crouch was the typical "Got something to prove" player - young, hungry, ambitious. As are Bendtner, Lupoli, Scott Parker (circa 4 years ago) etc etc.

Difference is, we cant get hold of one of them for whatever reasons - and we couldnt last year, so we went for "stale" loans - in desperation frankly. The players we have got were not performing (and didnt want to perform), Worthy needed instant results, and in my view, that is not the right time to bring in young players from the Youth.

And dont forget, Crouch and Huckerby were brought in, partly because Worthy realised Hendo and Jarvis werent going to cut it in the 1st team (will they ever? I doubt it.)
