Feeling really down now...

It has just dawned on me the situation we are in. Barring injuries both Green and Ashton would be in the England squad tonight. Both are now at West Ham. Just over 2 years ago we were heading into the Prem, full of optimism, while the Hammers were heading nowhere in the championship.

Now we're back where we started, while West Ham have flourished; fa cup final, uefa cup etc. And they now have 2 of the best players this club has had in recent memory.

And we have Andy Hughes & Peter Thorne.

It really makes you think what would have happened had we just beaten Fulham on that fateful day.
