The debate about Worthy earlier

I have to say I am in the 'he is still learning' camp on this one.

Very few managers have got into the Premier for the first time, and kept their team up, even Dowie (who can walk on water according to the meedyah).

I do think Worthy learns from his mistakes, maybe slowly at times, but he definately learns and is getting better all the time IMHO.

Put it this way. If somebody offered us a manager who 4 year record is -

6th place, lose on pens in PO Final
8th Place
Champions by 8 points
Relegated from the Prem by 2 points

I think most of us would think we have pulled off a coup by landing a manager with that track record.

For those that want him out, give me three realistic managerial targets that have a better 4 year record in the Fizzy League.

He is proven at this level and has the experience needed to get us out of this division again.

I don't have blind faith. If we are mid table at Christmas, and Worthy has blown through 1m+ on underperforming players, I will have changed my tune, but right now, I have faith in the man.
