Worthy has obviously handed him a large chunk of responsibility

He is the first team coach and I would expect him to be having a major say on the day. Worthy must recognise his ability and if he has his head screwed on will use him to his full potential. This can only make Worthy look better in the eyes of the fans and the board.
I presume that is why the shirt and tie has appeared.
Keep it going it is obviously making a difference!
