First of all, if the proposed transfer of green to Charlton goes ahead I wish him the best of luck. He needs and deserves to be playing in the Prem to to further his international ambitions. Despite the slightly indifferent form of last season, for my money he is still better than Kirkland, Carson etc.

Secondly, if we let him go for less than ?2m plus add ons it is giving him away. Depending on how long these negotiations take, Worthy may not have enough time to bring in any fresh faces before the window closes. He will almost certainly look to bring in a back up keeper for Gallagher and may view that as a priority before any other signings.
