two more things in response

(1) Damo hasn't gone because we're holding out for as much as we can get. He will be gone by the start of the season, which is what matters.

(2) I fear that for Mr Holt, time has marched on. and it's not gonna rewind.

Which means we need at least TWO central midfielders - one to actually play, one as back-up for Safri and the new signing.

As I say, that's where the cash has got to go (along with a right-back) - not 'cos we're fine everywhere else, but 'cos that's where we're most f*cked.
