Everyone moaning about signing a striker

We don't have much quality in that position bar Ashton and McKenzie. The other options are:

Huckerby (played on the left, and if we play him up front who'll be on the left? Don't say Brennan as he's crap.)
Jonson (not convinced)
Henderson/Jarvis (not really proven. Hendo does looks a good prospect but would you say he's better than Parkin?)
McVeigh (not rated by Worthy)
Doherty (HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!)
