Just because Parkin may be happening now doesn't mean that it is a 'priority' - it just means it is happening first.
What you can be sure of is that Worthy has identified the areas of his squad that needs improving and has been provided with a budget to do so. But the order of the signings is unimportant.
Remember: the only reason we are all talking about this is because the Brighton Chairman namechecked us in an interview. As we speak, numerous potential transactions could be under discussion - it's not NCFC's fault that Dick Knight has a big gob.
Let me reiterate: IF Worthington wants players in other areas it WILL happen - but whether it happens tomorrow or in a few weeks' time is irrelevant.
One final point. ?700,000 is paper talk. There is no way we will pay it and there is no way that Swindon will 'demand' it.
I reckon ?450,000 would be nearer the mark.
