thanks for your email John

i am certainly sure that a tiger or too on the pitch would liven things up
considerably at half time!

Subject: Pre-match/Half-time entertainment

Hi Neil,

Thanks for your invitation on the chat to mail you questions. I hope you
don't get flooded!

The pre-match and half-time entertainments have traditionally focused on the
younger end of the audience, by which I mean eight-and-under. While this is
clearly understandable (and a good thing), I wonder if any consideration has
been given to the possibility of a more circus-style offering which might
appeal to the next age group up, day 8-13 or so? The Hippodrome in Great
Yarmouth is always popular and might be interested in doing a deal - they
perform at CR for free and by so doing attract attention/publicity for their
circus shows.

The older children in particular are interested in larger animals. Maybe it
might be possible to get some on the pitch - obviously elephants would ruin
the playing surface, but I'm sure that a tiger or two would attract a lot of
clapping while leaving the playing surface unscathed? A number of
entertainments could be developed around this theme. Just a thought.

OTBC,

John
