The reason you don't understand what I am on about

is because you haven't seen it. You are arguing from a point of total ignorance - presumably just for the sake of arguing. If you had actually got off your backside and come yesterday you would be singing a different song today.
12 minutes is quite long enough to see that the player is physically past it. He can't run. He can't jump. He scored a good headed goal against us three years ago - all the times I have seen him play for us he has never once suggested that he could do that again. Having seen him at Cambridge and Leeds it is transparently obvious that he is way over the hill.
