Deviating from the Plan

It has been much mentioned by the Delia, Neil Doncaster and the Board that they are using the Charlton model as their plan for the club. i.e. not going mad when they get promoted and building sensibly for the future.

All very commendable but we seem to be going off the rails a bit. When Charlton came down from the Prem at the first attempt, they strengthened their squad and won the league by a country mile. We on the other hand seem to be looking at Bosman's which won't get us up if the injuries to key players start to set in. I guess its a case of spot the difference.
