Thanks for your invitation on the chat to mail you questions. I hope you don't get flooded!
The pre-match and half-time entertainments have traditionally focused on the younger end of the audience, by which I mean eight-and-under. While this is clearly understandable (and a good thing), I wonder if any consideration has been given to the possibility of a more circus-style offering which might appeal to the next age group up, day 8-13 or so? The Hippodrome in Great Yarmouth is always popular and might be interested in doing a deal - they perform at CR for free and by so doing attract attention/publicity for their circus shows.
The older children in particular are interested in larger animals. Maybe it might be possible to get some on the pitch - obviously elephants would ruin the playing surface, but I'm sure that a tiger or two would attract a lot of clapping while leaving the playing surface unscathed? A number of entertainments could be developed around this theme. Just a thought.
