Reading showed they way last season with full backs that actually pushed on and attacked, supporting their wingers.

'Two-touch' Drury was excellent in defence again last season but seems to get a nose bleed everytime he crosses the half way line.

Flem was solid but lacks the pace to get up and down to support or cover back; how we miss Eddy.

I see no reason to expect any improvement this season - even if players are brought in now we will be playing catch up.

Meanwhile Southampton changed their manager and gave him time to evaluate his squad and rebuild over the summer. KTFers take note as to how both our seasons pan out.
