So what's your point?

If a player can pass a medical, there's nothing significantly wrong with him or any long lasting injury which hasn't healed properly. But any player can get injured at any time. Basically whenever you sign someone you take that risk. Look at Louis Jean. Maybe Sutton does have a particular injury he is susceptible too - but luck may be on our side.

What I'm saying is yes it'll be a risk. But if the financial risk is in our favour - then why not take it? (I know you could argue it won't be - but if that's the case then we say no - but my point is we should at least try).
