Sutton

I know that I may be letting memories cloud my judgement, but I do think that signing Chris Sutton on a pay as you play deal would be a good move. One based on footballing reasons rather than an attempt to appease the fans.

Worthington should follow Stuart Pearce's example when he signed Andy Cole. Pearce said he wanted to look in his eyes, to see if he wanted to play. He saw a spark, so signed him.

Sadly Worthy won't even talk to Sutton. A stupid decision, one that may come to haunt him. Thorne or Sutton? I know who I'd choose. In the words of Jim Bowen on Bullseye "Come and see what you could have won"
