For example:
'This week, the list begins with the manager being criticised for not signing Lee Croft sooner. There has been no practical argument put forward for this point of view but it hasn?t stopped people using it as a stick to beat the poor man with. Quite why they aren?t content that we?ve finally signed someone for the ?problem? position is beyond The Libero.'
No practical argument? If we had signed him sooner he might be fit enough for Worthington to start him against Leeds. A practical argument as to why Worthington is a going to get us promoted would be nice - other than the old favourite: 'he's done it before'.
As for why we aren't content to FINALLY sign someone. This signing was in the week before the first game (thats where 'finally' comes from) and is our only signing so far, leaving us with fewer numbers than the squad that was too small last season.
If he wants people to stop having a go at the manager, stop winding people up (including me).
