which would be a 2 man midfield (a similar problem to the one in the Fulham fiasco when we had Bentley rather than McVeigh and, once Safri got injured, a 1 man midfield because Holt came on and did his traffic cone impression - against a quality 5 man Fulham midfield).

That's why I think McVeigh's role should be as backup to a) Hucks and b) Earnie - not a regular starter
