Twice I think

The Nazi Party never had a majority though, but were the largest party after 1932 (I think), although outnumbered by the SDP and KDP who were banned after the Reichstag fire. Hitler had to form coalitions with small right wing parties (landowners and industrialists who later benefited greatly from his policies)
