You ever considered

that maybe we manage to convince clubs to release players (at fairly reasonable prices - Hughes excluded) partly due to the fact that the previous club doesn't actually rate them anymore?

Do you also agree that maybe the player's fitness level plays a part in why the club are offloading them?
