I agree, the Aussies would...

batter their own grandmothers to win any match and love nothing more than beating (and humiliating) England at anything. Obviously they would prefer to win the Ashes as opposed to the one dayers, but that doesn't mean they weren't trying desperately to win these games.

They are still the best team in the world, but a number of their key players aren't getting any younger and are not as deverstating as they once were. England are probably on the up as a team with a number of good young players, so it is a good time to play the Aussies I think.
