As for football though......

They don't subscribe to the WADA code so can ban however they like. See Rio Ferdinand as a case in question. And that bloke at West Ham. Under the WADA code, should be two year bans each.

And then, the main problem in cycling and distance running at the moment is autologous blood transfusions. Used regularly by footballers legally.
