Norwich bid for championship striker.

Norwich boss Nigel Worthington today confirmed a bid for renowned championsip striker Paul Billington. Billington aged 11 scored 22 goals last season for Hempnall under 12 cub team in the South Norfolk Championship league.
Worthington said " Pauls height would be a great asset to Norwich city , at 4 ft 2" he would greatly complement our long ball game and would be a perfect foil for Robert Earnshaw for flick ons etc"
However Worthington warned that he only has a limted budget so Pauls wages demands of a mcfly cd and 6 months subscription to Whizzer and chips could be out of reach of the canaries.
Worthington says " we have tabled an offer and are awaiting a reply from Pauls nan, she seems hopeful he might accept 3 months of the beano instead".
