What the hell is going on here?

The message board used to be full of humour, insightful comments and intersting observations. What the hell has happened? Now we seem to be inundated with sweeping statements, poorly argued opinions, ridiculous comments and just extremely obvious lies. There's some really good, clever, funny people on here - please help us!!!
