Thoughts on last night...

first off we tried to play football and we are clearly setting out with better intentions this season.

worthy has clearly come up with the 'masterplan' for goal kicks of hitting hughes in the air - who cant head for s**t - this, for me, was the min negative form the night

once hughes went off we played some neat stuff and we strung 10-15 passes together on a number of occassions...something that we did very litle of last season.

with a backline of drury, shack, doc and flem/colinn i feel we should be pretty solid and was encouragedby gallagher constantly bollocking the defence to push up, which they subsequently did and made it harder for newcastle to penetrate our defence - big improvement

wth a right winger and the same 3 others in midfield + someone up front to play with earnie. we look like a team who could potentially win the league

the team newcastle played first half was very strong and we didnt get out played or outpassed

i am very encourged and i think the board just need to give us 2 and find a suitable target man plus croft and we're looking good
