why we can't sign anyone

Well thats not rocket science. Does worthy go into Tescos, see a bag of oranges priced ?1.99 and say they are only worth ?1.20 to me so thats what I will give you. So Tescos then turn round and sell them at ?1.20 do they? yeah of course they do.

IF we want players for goodness sake just damm well accept it, if not you get what you pay for , ie hughes, etuho, robinson
