?We were making calls in May right after the season finished. One example was that we called Stoke City about Luke Chadwick but were told that the club didn't have a manager, didn't have a chairman at the time, it was in the middle of a takeover and it was too early to decide what they wanted to do with our interest.

?So whilst we've been making every effort to try and bring players in we have been frustrated by a number of things - including the World Cup. ?
