Apathy

I'm not apathetic about the new season at all that?s turned into downright anger.

I've never seen any club as shambolically run (well actually I have but not many).
The best option I can think of is that the club have some spectacular last minute signings to pull out of the hat. Sutton, Halford AND a left back and I'd almost be placated. Note almost. It would still have been too late as fans frustrations have built up all summer after a pathetic 2 seasons I just don't think they'll evaporate overnight without managerial/boardroom changes. I still have this faint hope they'll all be unveiled at Flem's big do but my prozac packet is nearly empty?..

Assuming that doesn't happen then I'm afraid its time to start sack the board chants. Yes, worthington has been a clueless fool these last 2 seasons (he did very very well before that to be fair) but ultimately it looks more and more like the board are failing.

If they have no confidence in NW they should have sacked him. End of.
If they do then how on earth do they expect him to produce the goods when
the fans are going to be restless before we even kick off with the thinnest squad in memory.
Yes, theres quality there but the holes are just gaping. Defensively we're weak on the left side and if anything happenned to Drury??so why were Charlton and Brennan allowed to leave. OK neither was great but as cover surely one of them should have been kept. Right wing is well documented and up front?..but if Safri was injured we could be in deep deep trouble.

Thank God we missed out on Howard though. ?1mil for a lower league clogger who's 30. Peter Thorne was only 1.5 years older when we signed him for free and has a much better record.
I'm still praying he was a smokescreen.

12 days to kick off and counting.

I don't know about anyone else but nothing short opf a top2 place will make me happy now. If they'd made some effort in the transfer market I'd probably have been please with top 6 but if we're bobbing along in 5th place we'll all be wondering how much better we could have been if we'd shown any ambition at all.

Every other club except Piswich have now signed players.

Those loan signings last year look more ridiculous by the day. WHAT is going on ???
