Is the board playing a high risk strategy?

I've just read Worthy's comments on the official site and he sounds like a man frustrated. Could it be that the Board, not wishing to put the knife in, are trying to piss him off so much that he resigns? If so, it's a dishonest way to do things, and may not work as he will probably just stay anyway, and he'll have to go about the end of September. By this time we'll be in the s**t big time and a new man will not be able to turn it round by the end of the season, and then things will be worse because e'll have no parachute money.

I have always been a big supporter of this Board, but I am coming to the conclusion that either a) they've buggered up the finances to such ane xtent that we can't afford to sign anybody, despite having got rid of 4 or 5 players in the close season, or b) they really do trust Worthy and are therefore into the Nero phase of the empire or that c) the high risk strategy above is in play. Either way, it's depressing.

I say get rid now. Use HUnter to bring on the youngsters, and if we really haven't got any money then put David Williams in charge, tell us the truth that we've got no oney and we're rlying on developing a youth strategy and stop allowing this gradual descent into anarchy and in-fighting which may not be so gradual one the season starts.
