i'm in britanny

i've lived in france before so it wasn't too much of a culture shock. You have to be a francophile obviously, and be happy with lower salaries. I'm not sure i'd be able to come back to the uk now, as i would have difficulties getting on the property ladder and i would also find it certain things about the british lifestyle tough to handle (what's considered 'acceptable' food, the long work hours, the weather).

All in all it's great, and i'm sure in bordeaux there are enough expats for you not to miss the essentials like pubs, hp sauce and the coca-cola championship (you can get sky over here if you know how, and some of the big matches are on the cable/local satellite channels).
