But he's at the arse-end of his career, he's almost permanently injured, and he was immobile and ineffective at Brum - FWIW I think Worthy's probably about right on this one. There's been talk of pay-as-you-play, reduced wages, etc. etc. etc. but I can't see Worthy wanting to include someone who he can't rely on being fit for selection.

I also suspect he's far too much of a "personality" and a leader for Worthy to cope with. He's certainly pruned them out of the dressing room very effectively over the last 3 years.
