Derby just went straight in and got Howard. No f**king about. No offering ?500k first of all, then increasing to ?501k and packet of jelly babies. Bang. Here's a million. They've got him straightaway

How long have we been f**king about trying to do a deal. Not just for Howard, but for any other players. It's an absolute f**king joke and a disgrace.

Half of me is glad we didn't spend ?1 million on Howard. He's 30 years old for the love of god, but the other half of me despairs that we cannot even compete with the likes of Derby.

The board/Worthy - you'd better pull something very decent out of the hat, because if you don't, and you don't hit the ground running t Leeds, you are going to have even more to answer for!
