I said a week or two ago that if the board let Worthington spunk ?1m on Howard then I wouldn't put one more penny into the club until he'd left the club.

Howard might have done alright and may do for Derby, but we should not be spending that kind of money of 30 year old's with only one years experience at this level. I'd much rather we signed young up and coming players.

Let's hope he now concentrates on getting in some people on the right hand side. Can't believe we missed out on Gilbert from Arsenal, would have been superb at right back.
