if he doesn't "do that defensive bit" we are stuffed

since we'll only have three midfielder then. Unless he's playing up front, in which case we're stuffed anyway.
Since he has failed to prove he can play as a striker he is going to have to accept that he's playing in midfield and do some defensive work.
