Possibly an over-reaction to my Bill Hicks quote?

Seriously though, I don't dig this weather. It's like being ill - I have an active mind that finds it impossible to do anything (like read, or watch a half-decent film, or write, or play football, etc) in this sort of extreme heat. So I'm just bored and waiting to go to bed. Which will be very hot.

And it's not getting to sleep that's the problem, it's the inevitable waking up early tomorrow morning! Roll on autumn and the football season, when I can wear my cool jackets again ...
