one way to look at it is that at least it looks like the Directors have lost faith in worthy as well.
As we should all know, none of the spin that comes out of a football club should be listened to - directors vote of confidences are represented by the opening of their wallets.
Worthy has had no money to spend, i'll give him ten games into the new season before our position is evaluated again, Worthy gets the boot, new manager comes in, money will be given to spend at Christmas - too late for us to do anything exciting this season, but do the long term benefits of getting rid of worthy outweigh that fact?
