Thoughts from Cambridge

1. We were pretty awful, particularly in the first half.

2. My hopes that dickson would suddenly be transformed over the close season may be somewaht misplaced on this evidence. Admittedly only 45 minutes of football but on the evidence of saturday i would give Robinson the nod alongside Saf if we started the season tomorrow.

3. Henderson played very well and I think other than Mcveigh is probably our best option on the right in the absence of any signings before the new season.

4. Why are we playing Rossi Jarvis at Centreback 9where he did ok to be fair) and Spillane at right back. Spillane is not a right back and I hope we are not going to destroy him by playing him there.

5. Leon was a bit of a revelation playing on the left flank.

6. Thorne may have scored but still looked very slow and to be honest not out of place against a conference team.

7. If Hunter is at all worth his salt then surely he will spot (as no other coach seems to have for the last 5 years) that Drury gives the right winger far, far too much room to receive the ball in!
