Duo in striker chase
2006-07-17 09:40
Norwich City and Crystal Palace are believed to be leading the chase for MK Dons striker Izale McLeod.
The Championship rivals are both reported to be preparing bids for the 21-year-old England U-21 international, who has been made available for transfer by new Dons' boss Martin Allen.

Wolves were the favourites to secure the services of McLeod earlier in the summer, but their hopes of a deal have been hit by the resignation of boss Glenn Hoddle two weeks ago.
Wanderers were set to make a move for the player that they had agreed an initial ?600,000 fee, rising to ?1.3m for in January, before switching their attention to Polish international Tomasz Frankowski.

McLeod scored 18 goals last season for the MK Dons as they were relegated to League Two.
