the purpose of a testimonial was for low paid players to get a financial sum to take with them into retirement , given that Flem has been with us for 10 years on decent money , remained relatively injury free and is probably in aposition where he is finacially secure for the rest of his life , why should he get a testimonial

The Notman situation is different , although nowadays with Insurance payouts and teh wages etc from when they are playing , even those are not really needed are they
