Tiger Loose In North Yorkshire

A woman who was driving (yet another crazy story, perhaps?) near Selby saw a tiger leap a fence and cross the road as she drove to work.

While that alone could be put down to the fevered workings of the female brain, a second report was made to police by a farmer from Tadcaster, who spotted the tiger on his land.

No reports have been made of a missing tiger, but an RAF spotter plane and police search teams were dispatched to the area.

As yet, no trace of the tiger has been found.
