Dean Marney's name was touted about (can't remember if it was publically) last pre-season, and happened. However I suspect that we're not the only ones that have enquired after Mr Walcott... and if he does go on loan, he may well stay in the Prem.

To me this all sounds like Worthy is making out he is aiming big to justify his continued position, but doesn't have two brass razoos (copyright Alf Stewart - Home & Away) to rub together. I don't buy this "simmering frustration" malarky. We've done what we always do, wait so we don't have to pay unecessary wages over the summer. However, we've been caught out big style this time around with everyone else making their move early on to snap the available talent. Worthy's desperately trying to remove huge egg from face I'm afraid.

FWIW though, I maintain my position of really not giving a flying about all the speculation. My interest in NCFC will only resume on August 5th. A sad indictment really of the club I have passionately supported for 35 years.
