The Board had hoped to give Worthy 1.5-2 milion this summer, however that was goona be the money from any transfer of Robert Green(Wigan) but because of the injury that was scrapped. The board said they would allow the money to be spent but if the club looked like they were in a position not to be serious promotion challengers then it would have to be recouped either by selling Green or possibly Earnshaw but Worthy did not want that as he thought the fans would turn on him even more if we sold Earnie so soon after buying, so the transfer kitty stands at 0

However it looks like Colin couyld be on his way back to Holland and we might be able to get about 150,000-200,000 which was planned to get Chadwick, i think stoke would want alot more

It was asked why the club had no money left from Ashton sale
The club paid crewe ?3 million, however on half was paid at the time of the transfer and the other was going to be paid the following year

when Aston was sold to West Ham for ?7 million crewe were entitled to about ?1.5 million from the percentage sell on + ?1.5 million from what norwich still had to pay, so norwich would get ?4 million and Crewe ?3million,

As with Norwich, West Ham did not pay all in 1 go, its a 4 million down payment and ?3 million over 2 years. Out of the 4 million about ?1.7 million was paid to crewe which left norwich with about ?2.3 million. City used ?2 million for the down payment of Rob Earnshaw and the rest was used for the 2 loan players(wages and agent fee's)

West Ham will make a second payment in Jan 2007 of ?1.5 million but ?600,00 will go to crewe and leave us with just under a million but that will then pay for our second installment of Rob Earnshaw agian leaving the pot empty, we have to wait until Jan 2008 when West Ham make their final payment of ?1.5 million but agian with Crewes share we will be Left with about ?900,000

so there you have it, we have no money unless we sell and will not come into any serious money untill 2008 at the earliest"
