but he's coming towards the end of his career, he wants one more world cup, I doubt he's overly fond of worthy after last year, he'd have to take a big pay cut to stay, he's not got any great relationship with the crowd, and I doubt he's heard of half the teams we'll be playing next year.

Can't see why he'd stay, if a prem team or even a top flight team in a smaller league were interested.

And I also think Worthy brought him in to do a job - to add some nous and experience to help us stay up in the premiership. Now that's failed, I doubt that Worthy will be all that gutted if/when he goes, either.
