That, once the friendlies start and the new season gets ever closer, all the rancour, discontent, and protests of last season will be forgotten and everyone will be, once again, full of optimism and support for the new season?
Last season with protest meetings, marches, an atmosphere at some home games which was Chernobyl-like in its poison, fans fighting and arguing amongst themselves, players gesticulating to fans, managers saying they didn't care what the fans thought etc etc etc?
Does Munby et al really think thats all water under the bridge now and that the slate is wiped clean, with each and everyone of us full of joy and smiles, and ready to sing our little hearts out from day 1?
Or do they think a few bad performances and the inevitable PR cock up will kick everything off again?
Me, well, I fancy the latter, but rather think they are convinced it will be the former. Time will tell, but it won't be long and I can see it now-"...no-one wins promotion after 10 games..." etc etc!
