Time for a NCISA Statement

A few weeks ago, NCISA released a statement expressing their concerns at the lack of signings made by the club. Two weeks later we are still to see any new faces at Colney and judging by the column in the Evening News, there is no prospect of any in the near future.

The club is now playing the poverty card. Bearing in mind the many advantages this club has over nearly every other club in this division, I really can't believe that. The simple fact is that we are being out performed in the transfer market by everyone else. This is not a new phenomena for this club - we always commence our summer dealings too late, with most of the players turning up long after pre-season has started. Even during our promotion season we started with a very mediocre squad which was only rescued by the now celebrated loans signings. This is a tactic Worthy has tried to repeat but without success.

Whether that is the fault of the manager, the club or a combination of the two is a matter for discussion but there is something very wrong at Carrow Road at the moment. The fans deserve better and I think it is time for NCISA to start flexing their muscles and bringing this into the open a bit more.
