everyone in football is probably aware of last season's protests

so would you risk signing for an unpopular manager who will probably not last long and whose successor might not want you?
I'm sorry ,but Worthy is pretty much beyond the point of no return here and retaining him is just wasting the club's opportunities by delaying the inevitable. He should have gone the second the season finished.
