anybody remeber 1985/6

When there was similar speculation all Summer that Woods would leave to further his England career , we lost our first three away games - 2 -1 at Blackburn , 2 errors from Woods - 4 -2 at Millwall ( didn;t go so can;t comment , and 2 -0 at Pompey again an error from Woods set them on the way - Woods was taking lots of abuse at Pompey and fans were moaning at him saying his heart had gone and he didn;t care

In the EEN that week he had a right go back , played a blinder all season , we walked teh league and he went to the World Cup

Perhaps history is going to repeat itself
