I have never liked the italians much; they are defensive, corrupt and serial cheats

(although Portugal seem to have taken it to a new and unbeleivable level). Seria A is exceptionally dull - at least it was when I used to watch it, the worst champions league final in living memory involved 2 italian teams a couple a years ago.

I am surprised it has taken this long before Seria A has had a match fixing scandal.

They conspired yesterday to make a game that could have been brilliant - certainly by the way the french took the game - into a drab affair livened up only by the diving and headbutt incident.
