Due to a technical issue no usual presser but, I do have a summary...

A rejuvenated City bounce into this encounter having won their last three Championship matches against Charlton Athletic, Watford and a 4-0 demolition of struggling Derby County in midweek to leave the woes that followed a five-game losing streak firmly in the rearview mirror.

Clement's side will be eager to carry that momentum into their trip to Ashton Gate on Saturday lunchtime as they look to compound the Robins' woes under new boss Michael Skubala.

Since a summer revamp, Bristol City have won two of their last nine matches and have lost five of their opening seven home matches.

City will be hoping to have key midfield duo Pelle Mattsson and Kenny McLean available for selection after they missed out on the previous two Championship encounters.

Mattsson has missed victory over Watford plus the midweek trip to Derby after picking up a hamstring injury against Charlton the previous week. Clement is expected to provide an update on the Dane.

Captain McLean was another absentee against Watford and Derby after suffering a setback. The Scot had featured for 45 minutes at Charlton but has since experienced a separate issue with the same ankle, with Clement confirming at the weekend that he had visited a specialist.

Those midfield absences created an opportunity for Mirko Topic to return to the matchday squad for the first time since sustaining an ACL injury last November, with the Serbian named among the substitutes against Watford.
Papa Amadou Diallo (thigh) remains sidelined for a few weeks, although a recent visit to a specialist is hoped to have helped identify the underlying cause of his recurring muscular problems.

Long-term absentee Gabe Forsyth (knee) has suffered a
minor setback after a spell of regular appearances for the development side, but a scan has revealed no cause for concern.

Mo Toure (dislocated shoulder) is not expected back until January, while close friend Ali Ahmed (ACL) is set to miss the majority of the campaign.

Bristol City will be without Gibson Yah until after the November international break while centre-back Rob Dickie is currently listed as unavailable with a knee injury, while fellow defender Noah Eile has been struggling with illness.
Dickie’s absence is potentially the more significant of the two given the experience and physical presence he provides in the heart of City’s defence. In his absence, Luke McNally and Lisav Naif Eissat have been among the options available to Skubala.
