Arry Redknapp, NBTTT

Filling in some gaps in yesterday's exchange

Redknapp joined us, on loan, on Aug 16 1974 [the same day that Tony Powell moved to CR]
His first app was for the Reserves on Aug 31, and he scored.
He played again for the Res on Sep 14, was subbed in the 2nd half and, a week later, was reported to have suffered torn knee tendons, was in plaster, and returned to Bournemouth.
On Nov 6th Redknapp played - and scored - again for the Reserves, with his last app being Nov 9th when he was again subbed off [presumably inured]

On Nov 8th the national newspapers had reported that Redknapp signing a perm deal at Norwich was expected, but his continued injuries put paid to it. At the time it was believed that Redknapp may have to retire from playing altogether.
