why in the name of hms carol smillie does he always get called by his full name rather than referred to occasionally by his surname like pretty much every other footballer?

also, the subbing off of alex iwobi made me a little downhearted as i rather admire him for his solid choice of wearing all black footy boots. no nonsense old school.
